✦

Who Am I?

Hiya! I'm Solenn, a graphic designer and art director. I bring together strategic thinking and visual craft to make work that feels considered, intentional, and genuinely worth looking at.

Over the past few years I've worked across healthcare advertising, exhibition design, editorial, and brand identity, collaborating closely with strategists, creative directors, and clients to turn complex briefs into clear, considered creative. Currently leading design on a major aesthetics account at Remedy Edge, part of the Omnicom network, while taking on independent projects that keep the creative muscle flexible.

Design, for me, has always been about finding the right language for an idea and trusting that the thinking will show in the work. Everything here is an attempt at exactly that, and there's plenty more where it came from.

Designer and Art Director

Healthcare Advertising

Appointed lead designer on the Allergan Aesthetics account at Remedy Edge in November 2024, I direct creative across brand, digital, print, congress environments, and out-of-home, overseeing five distinct brand identities while leading the development of Signature, their most ambitious brand framework. Day to day this means everything from building complex interactive tools in Figma and briefing freelance designers on large-scale OOH, to working closely with strategy on behavioural science-informed experience design. Before Remedy Edge, I spent three months at Verve London as a studio design intern, supporting the creative director across brand activations and campaign work, including the official England Rugby Fanzone. The Senses Series, an internal creative programme I designed end to end at Remedy Edge, was shortlisted for the Creative Floor Awards.

UAL Chelsea - BA Graphic Design

UAL - Foundation Diploma

Barton Previl - AAA*

An MA in Digital Direction from the Royal College of Art, where I spent two years exploring experimental storytelling, immersive formats, and the intersection of design, technology, and experience. Before that, a BA in Graphic Design Communication from the University of the Arts London, Chelsea College of Art, where I built the visual foundations that everything since has been built on. Earlier still, a Foundation Art Diploma with Merit and three A Levels in Graphic Design, Moving Image, and Communication and Culture at Barton Peveril College, the last of which came with an award for Best Animated Film.

My work sits across brand identity, art direction, editorial, digital, print, and spatial design, with a particular strength in building visual systems that need to stay coherent across a lot of different formats and audiences. On the digital side I live mostly in Figma, building everything from complex interactive tools to design systems and campaign templates. For print and editorial it's InDesign. For everything else, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Procreate cover most of what I need. I work well in fast-paced, feedback-heavy environments, having spent the past two years collaborating closely with creative directors, strategists, copywriters, and medical teams on briefs that don't leave much room for vagueness. Soft skills wise, I'd say creative direction, strategic thinking, and the ability to hold a lot of moving parts together without losing sight of what the work is actually supposed to feel like. Also a biro and a good playlist go a long way.
